L2 & L3 Capable

This powerful ARISE feature will attract corporate and government accounts. You’ll pay lower interchange fees by processing Level 2 and 3 transactions. Because of the extra information required, fraud becomes less likely, and you’re rewarded for helping to reduce the risk of credit card abuse by completing the extra data fields.

Level 1

Most merchants use Level 1 pricing for transactions. The most expensive Interchange rates are used and a minimal amount of data is transmitted for payment processing including:

  • Merchant Name  
  • Card Information (card number, CVV, expiration date)  
  • Purchase amount  
  • Purchase date  
Level 2

Small to medium size businesses may qualify for Level 2 pricing for transactions. The interchange rates are less expensive than Level 1 but require more data to be transmitted for payment processing including:

  • All the requirements of Level 1  
  • Sales Tax Indicator and amount  
  • Billing Zip Code  
  • Billing address  
  • Invoice number  
  • Reference number or P.O. number  
Level 3

Government credit cards and large corporations qualify for Level 3 pricing. The interchange rates are the least expensive but require more data to be transmitted for payment processing including, but not limited to:

  • All the requirements of Level 1 and 2  
  • Order date  
  • Product SKU/Description  
  • Product cost and quantity  
  • Discount names & percentages
